On Monday 29 June, the FixMyStreet team brought its business users together for another edition of the Users Club. On the agenda were a statistical review, the 2026–2027 roadmap, feedback from private and professional users and collaborative workshops aimed at jointly shaping the platform’s future.

FixMyStreet: key figures

The 2025 figures show that adoption continues to grow. FixMyStreet currently has 34 partner organisations (municipalities, administrations and other partners) and more than 1,200 business users. The platform offers 330 reporting categories, including more than 200 dedicated to professionals.

The year's most striking figure remains the number of reports: a total of 208,000, with steady growth since the platform was launched in 2013 (7,000 reports that year). This trend is expected to continue in 2026, with a projected total of 225,000 reports. The three most common categories were public sanitation (119,000 reports), transport (42,000) and urban prevention (27,000).

The launch of citizen profiles

Since February, FixMyStreet has offered citizens the option to create a personal profile on the mobile app. 3,000 profiles were created in just a few months, accounting for 17,000 reports, i.e. 40% of all reports submitted by citizens. The average was 5.8 reports per profile, a sign of genuine engagement by users who choose to sign up.

2026 roadmap and outlook for 2027

The FixMyStreet team presented the broad outlines of its plan for developing the app. For 2026, the changes focus on three areas:

  • platform improvements (new categories and features, improved map, interface)
  • expansion of partnerships (incorporating Bruxelles-Propreté and Brussels Environment)
  •  activation (public awareness campaign, newsletters to institutional partners).

In 2027, the focus will be on artificial intelligence: anonymisation, moderation, blurring and automatic report categorisation. These projects represent exciting opportunities for the future.

Collaborative workshops

The morning concluded with collaborative workshops. These opportunities for dialogue provided real added value, as participant feedback directly informs decision-making and enables the platform to evolve in line with real-world conditions.

The entire FixMyStreet team and those who contribute daily would like to thank all the participants; they will continue their work to improve the user experience and thereby enhance the quality of public spaces.
