Hospitals
The Brussels-Capital Region has a large hospital infrastructure, with high-quality care for patients in general hospitals and specialised clinics, including academic hospitals.
The Belgian Association of Hospitals provides a full list of hospitals on its website. You can find a hospital by place, region, type or specialty.
On the website of the Common Community Commission (FR/NL) you can search for a hospital in Brussels by name, commune or department.
Most of the hospitals also have a website containing practical information.
In the Brussels-Capital Region, the IRIS network comprises the Region’s five public hospitals, spread over eleven sites:
- Institut Jules Bordet
- Brugmann University Hospital
- Queen Fabiola Children's University Hospital
- Saint-Pierre University Hospital
- Hôpitaux Iris-Sud.
