A single regional portal to make life easier for the people of Brussels

The Brussels Capital Region recently took a major step towards improving access to public information with the launch of "be.brussels/en", a new-generation portal designed to serve citizens better.

With the ambitious "Regional Web Strategy" project, the Brussels Capital Region is redefining and rationalising its web landscape and launching Opens in new windowbe.brussels/en, a brand-new portal that centralises and organises all the information contained on over 200 sites maintained by Brussels public administrations. This single point of entry guarantees the accessibility, clarity and reliability of information through modern interfaces.

Do you need an administrative document? Use IRISbox! An electronic one-stop shop for the Brussels Capital Region's administrations, this platform revolutionises the management of administrative procedures, saving you time and ensuring the full traceability of exchanges.

IRISbox is the Brussels Capital Region's electronic one-stop shop for regional and local online services. Citizens and businesses can consult documents online 24/7 and access interactive forms to request documents and carry out administrative procedures.

Has there been illegal rubbish dumping in your favourite park? Is there a pothole forming in your street? Report incidents in Brussels public spaces and help improve your city with FixMyStreet.

FixMyStreet gives you the opportunity to report problems on public roads, such as a pothole in a road, a leaf-covered cycle path or faulty street lighting. The application forwards the report to the road manager or person in charge and then informs you of the status of the reported problem.

FixMyStreet is an initiative of Opens in new windowBrussels Mobility in collaboration with the Brussels municipalities and partner institutions. The website and mobile application were developed and are maintained by Paradigm.

FixMyStreet is simple and available free of charge from the Apple Store and Google Play. An internet version of the application can also be used at Opens in new windowwww.fixmystreet.brussels.

The expansion of MyPermit Urban involved the integration of 11 new Brussels municipalities, following the production launch of version 2.3.0 of this regional platform on 21 November.

Brussels residents can now submit their requests for planning permission electronically to 17 municipal authorities: Anderlecht, Auderghem, Berchem-Sainte-Agathe, Brussels City, Etterbeek, Evere, Forest, Ganshoren, Jette, Koekelberg, Molenbeek-Saint-Jean, Saint-Gilles, Saint-Josse-ten-Noode, Schaerbeek, Uccle, Watermael-Boitsfort, Woluwe-Saint-Lambert.

This progress also sees improved functionalities such as simplified access to the file summary, and notifications so you don't forget to fill in certain items of housing data.
