Conditions
Pour pouvoir introduire une demande d’avis auprès de la CPL :
- Le logement concerné doit être situé dans la Région de Bruxelles-Capitale.
- Le bail ne peut pas être conclu par un opérateur immobilier public (OIP) tel que défini à l'article 2 § 1er 4° du Code bruxellois du Logement ou une agence immobilière sociale (AIS).
- Le loyer ne peut pas être encadré par une ordonnance ou un arrêté.

Important!
- The opinion issued by the Joint Rental Commission is free of charge and non-binding.
- The anonymised opinion will be published on the Brussels Housing website
- Please attach a copy of the following documents to your application:
- the tenancy agreement
- all the documents needed to determine the fairness of the rent (description of the situation, photos of the property, reference rent, etc.).

What happens next?
- The applicant receives an acknowledgement of receipt once the application has been received. The other party to the lease is informed of the application for an opinion.
- Following receipt of a notice to attend, the different parties (and any authorised representatives and interested parties) will be heard at a meeting of the Joint Rental Commission.
- If necessary, the Commission members suggest holding one or more new meetings.
- The Joint Rental Commission issues an opinion within two months of the application being made.
- In the event of a rent review, it proposes conciliation between the parties to the lease.
- The parties are informed of the opinion no later than 15 days after the (final) meeting.
- The anonymised opinion is published on the Brussels Housing website no later than 30 days after notification.
