A varied job

Every day, the Brussels Regional Public Service carries out missions that help improve quality of life in Brussels, and that are focused on serving citizens. These missions cover a wide range of fields, including soft mobility, engineering, equal opportunities, finance, communication, accounting, employment, public procurement, housing, the economy, contacts with local authorities, management of European funds, representation of the Region abroad and human resources.

Training and working environment

Convinced that well-being in the workplace is essential for providing an excellent service to the citizens of Brussels, the Brussels Regional Public Service offers its in-house talent numerous opportunities for training (new employee packages, skills assessments, tailored training programmes, career coaching) and progression (mobility, promotions).

In addition to remuneration, the salary package is supplemented by numerous financial benefits, including:

  • Meal vouchers worth €8;
  • A language bonus (between €600 and €3,200 gross per year) after passing a Selor exam;
  • For remote work, a non-indexed internet connection allowance of €20 per month and a non-indexed office allowance of €30 per month,
  • An end-of-year bonus and holiday pay.

Staff plans are adopted by the Government on the proposal of the Board of Directors. These can be viewed on the Belgian Official Gazette website.
