New Radar 2025 to target digital innovation in the Brussels-Capital Region

The ‘watch’ unit of the Digital Transformation division has published its new Radar: a monitoring tool to track trends and priorities in digital transformation.

As a reminder, as part of its ongoing strategic intelligence activities, Paradigm is updating its ‘Trend Radar’, a visual tool that identifies the major trends in the field of digital transformation in the public sector.

Paradigm's Trend Radar identifies key areas for public sector organisations. These areas are then classified into levels of maturity (adopt, test, investigate, wait) to facilitate decision-making.

Unsurprisingly, the trend that stands out is the genuine demand for action in the area of cyber security risk management, an area perceived as a real threat to the continuity of public services.

Other key priorities include the importance of certain business principles in the design of IT applications: Green IT, user experience, simplification and sharing.

Other concerns are closely linked to the proper use of IT and resources: the integration of AI and its use (prompting, etc.), support for the arrival of low-code applications that require little technical experience, etc. Finally, there is the regulatory framework (NIS 2, AI Act, etc.), which requires governance and tools to be assessed and adapted.

You will find below the full ‘February 2025’ report on this monitoring tool and its potential uses.
