2023: A record year for FixMyStreet
In 2023, FixMyStreet resolved more than 130,000 incidents in the Brussels Region, up 55% on 2022.
Citizen participation in improving public space continues to grow, with over 84,000 reports in 2023. This is an increase of 46% in one year and, more importantly, more than half of all recorded reports.
The most numerous requests are still those relating to public cleanliness (53% of incidents), followed by road issues (15%) and public furniture (6%).
A new version of the app
The mobile application landscape is constantly evolving, which is why a new version of the app has been developed by the FixMyStreet team to keep pace with new mobile standards and to offer new, modern and dynamic features in the future.
The new app already offers the following improvements:
- Screen standardisation
- Explanatory loading screens
- Language selection now available from the homepage
