European Summit on 20 and 21 march
A European Summit is being held in Brussels on 20 and 21 march. As at every summit, a large number of security measures are being taken, and these are having an impact on mobility.

Traffic
A security perimeter has been set up around the Schuman roundabout. In this zone, traffic is prohibited (except for emergency vehicles or those with an exemption). Pedestrians must also have an access badge and show their identity card to enter this perimeter.
The surrounding streets are reserved for local traffic and parking is prohibited.
The Reyers-centre tunnel is also closed to traffic.

Public transport
Public transport is also affected by the European Summit. Bus routes 12, 21, 22, 27 36 60 79 passing through Schuman will be diverted via Maelbeek. A number of entrances to Schuman metro/train station are closed. At the request of the police, the station may be completely inaccessible at certain times.
