Brussels Fire Brigade now integrated into be.brussels
As of 14 July 2025, the website of the Brussels Fire Brigade is integrated into the regional platform be.brussels.
Citizens, professionals and organisations can now access all key information and administrative procedures related to fire prevention, safety and emergency assistance through a single regional access point.
This change is part of the region’s web strategy to simplify and improve access to digital services for everyone in Brussels.
Update 11 July
The technical changeover is scheduled to take place between 14 July and 16 July.
During this period :
- The site may be temporarily unavailable or experience slowdowns.
- The monitoring of certain files (processing, updating, consultation) could be momentarily impacted: temporary difficulties in submitting a new file via a web form or in completing a file in progress on the basis of a communicated URL.
We will do our utmost to limit disruption and ensure that service continuity is as smooth as possible.
What you can do:
- Postpone for a few days the follow-up of files requiring the use of a form hosted on the website
- Assist with urgent procedures using traditional telephone/email exchanges without going through the website
- If you need help or have any problems, you can contact our support team at web@fire.brussels
What’s new?
The content previously available on pompiers.brussels and brandweer.brussels can now be found under the “Safety and Prevention” section of be.brussels. You will be automatically redirected to this content, including:
- Information about fire safety in homes, public spaces, infrastructure and events
- All administrative procedures: advice requests, permits, certificates, contact and appointment forms, and more
- Guidance on what to do after an emergency intervention
- Useful emergency numbers and preventive advice
Also available on the new pages:
- The latest news from the Brussels Fire Brigade and details of our core missions
- Our history, values and fire stations
- Information on regional risk management
- A recruitment portal with current job openings and how to join our teams
- A dedicated section for the Cadet School
- Contact details for administrative requests, sending feedback or submitting a complaint
- Our transparency policy and public service information
Why this change?
This integration aligns with the Brussels Region’s digital strategy to streamline communication and improve access to public services online — making them clearer, faster and more accessible for citizens, professionals and institutions alike.
Old URLs still work
Still using pompiers.brussels or brandweer.brussels? No problem. You’ll be automatically redirected to the new content on be.brussels. Access to essential information remains uninterrupted.
