The Brussels Fire Brigade is investing in new, modern fire stations to enhance our services and optimally support our teams. Together, we are building a safer and greener future for all Brussels residents.
These stations are designed with the latest technologies and sustainability in mind, allowing us to respond to emergencies even faster and more efficiently.
Anderlecht
A new fire station and sports facility for the neighbourhood!
This modern project of 6,678 m², located along the canal in Anderlecht, will house the outpost with eco-friendly infrastructures tailored to the needs of our teams.
The location of the new barracks was not chosen by chance. It is the result of a risk analysis in which several criteria were taken into account (a densely populated neighbourhood, an increasing number of interventions, proximity to a main road, easy entrance and exit, better coverage of the municipality and surrounding area, fire brigade closer to the people, etc.).
In addition, a shared sports facility will be open to local residents which strengthens community ties. Completion foreseen in early 2027 for a sustainable place, serving you and us!
Delta
The new fire station will be located next to the old building on Boulevard du Triomphe, as this is an excellent location for quick access to the entire area. This project, which also innovates post-intervention decontamination, will improve both the service to citizens and the quality of life of firefighters.

Main fire station Brussels
The land of about 1.5 hectares planned for the Fire Station extends between the TIR terminal and the Thurn & Taxis parc.
The new building is intended to house the services of the Brussels Fire Brigade, currently located on Avenue de l'Héliport, and the training classes for the safe.brussels school.
