A Soliris Village in the centre of Brussels: international solidarity in action
On Saturday 20 June 2026, Brussels-based international solidarity stakeholders gathered for the Soliris Village. This event provided a valuable opportunity to present the general public with tangible international solidarity initiatives currently deployed across the Brussels-Capital Region.

Held at the Place de la Bourse, the External linkSoliris Village brought together citizens, non-profit organisations, and institutional actors from both the Brussels municipalities and the Region, all united around the core theme of international solidarity.
In a region where multiculturalism represents a fundamental asset, the event highlighted the diverse range of engagements and perspectives, while successfully bridging global challenges with local realities. Direct exchanges with stakeholders on the ground served to make international solidarity more tangible and accessible to the wider public.
