A vegetable garden on a Brussels rooftop
High above the streets of Ixelles and Etterbeek, a surprising urban farming project is taking root. On the roof of the Colruyt in Etterbeek, vegetables, herbs, berries and edible flowers are being grown in a living experimental garden for sustainable urban food production. During a guided tour, you’ll explore the site, discover how urban farming can contribute to a greener and more resilient city, and enjoy a unique view over Brussels.
