Call for proposals for a young and dynamic Region

As part of its efforts to promote the national and international image of the Brussels-Capital Region, Brussels International is launching a new call for projects aimed at supporting sports clubs investing in youth development, as well as organisations developing initiatives that enhance urban vitality and quality of life in the Brussels Region through sport.

Sport plays a vital role in social cohesion, inclusion, the personal development of young people and Brussels’ appeal. Through this call for projects, the Region aims to support initiatives that contribute to a positive, innovative and dynamic image of Brussels, whilst encouraging as many people as possible to take part in sport.

The call for projects is aimed at:

• sports clubs operating in the Brussels-Capital Region and working with Brussels residents under the age of 25;
• associations and organisations running projects that use sport as a catalyst for social, educational or regional development;
• organisations that contribute to Brussels’ regional, national or international profile through their sporting activities.

When submitting their application, applicants must select the category corresponding to their project:

Before you begin completing your application, we strongly recommend that you download and save all the supporting documents to your computer. This will make it easier to compile your application and upload the required documents to the designated fields when submitting your application.

Applications may be submitted from 17 July 2026 at 12.00 until 17 August 2026 at 20.00. No applications submitted after this deadline will be considered.

Applicants are asked to familiarise themselves with the following rules before submitting their application:

• any application that is incomplete or submitted after the deadline will be automatically rejected;
• only one application may be submitted per beneficiary;
• once the application has been submitted, no amendments, corrections or resubmissions will be permitted;
• in the event of multiple submissions, only the first application received will be considered.

It is the applicant’s responsibility to ensure compliance with the criteria and conditions set out in the rules. No exceptions will be granted.
