Created in 2018, talent.brussels is the Brussels-Capital Region's regional public administration responsible for recruiting statutory employees and top managers for Brussels' regional public bodies.
It acts as a link between candidates and public employers in the Brussels-Capital Region, such as Bruxelles Environnement, Urban.brussels, Bruxelles Fiscalité, Paradigm, the Port of Brussels, Actiris, SPRB, the Brussels Fire Brigade, SLRB, Innoviris and Perspective.brussels.
In addition to recruiting new talent, talent.brussels is the HR centre of expertise for its regional partners. It provides services to entities in the areas of HR, recruitment, careers, well-being and diversity. It supports its partners in the challenges of organisational development.
Our tasks
- Centralizing and coordinating the selection tests for the Region’s statutory public service reserve list
- Staff development (end-of-career scheme, intra-regional mobility, certification, career guidance, wellbeing at work)
- Drawing up a shared taxonomy for the competence profiles
- Complaints handling
- Creating a joint training panel for the staff members of the Brussels public entities
- Strengthening and maintaining low-skill services within the public institutions
- Coordinating the diversity policy
- Legal assistance
- Recognition, certification and formal validation of competences
- Coordinating the Public Service Employment Observatory at regional level
- Support with public procurement procedures
- Implementation of the strategic plan for the public service
