Brussels Synergy
Brussels Synergy is one of eight administrative bodies within the Brussels Regional Public Service (BRPS). Its mission is to drive the implementation of the government strategy and connect stakeholders within and outside the Brussels Regional Public Service.
What are its missions?
Brussels Synergy is a key partner in the Brussels-Capital Region. The administration's mission is to streamline the implementation of the government strategy and foster connections among actors within and outside the Brussels Regional Public Service. It guarantees the overall coherence of the BRPS’s operations and actions, it coordinates the actions of its different administrations and assists them in setting up services of general interest.
Operating under the direct authority of the Secretary-General and the Deputy Secretary-General of the Brussels Regional Public Service, it provides public services relating to strategy, management and support:
- Financial coordination;
- Human resources;
- Well-being and occupational safety (SIPPT);
- Logistics support services (Facilities);
- Data Protection Officer (DPO);
- Quality and complaint management;
- Sustainability policy and the ISO 1400:2015 Environmental Management System;
- Mail management and internal distribution of Brussels government documents;
- Legal support (legal advice and opinions, public contracts, etc.);
- Translation service;
- Communication.
Some of these tasks are also carried out for institutions other than the Brussels Regional Public Service, under service level agreements.
In addition, some of Brussels Synergy's services have a direct impact and visibility with citizens, institutions, companies and partners in Brussels and abroad. In particular, these include:
