Paradigm providing essential support for SIAMU operations
Our teams manage and maintain the IT and logistical platforms that enable fire and rescue workers to respond quickly and efficiently to emergency calls.
Paradigm's developers created the Fireplan platform, which centralises and ensures the exchange of information between the SIAMU's various internal and external departments. At the heart of emergency service management, this platform provides centralised management of operational schedules, staff call ups, follow-up of training programmes, medical care, and more. Securing personal data is also a priority, leaving no room for error.
The systems team develops and implements high-availability infrastructures, designed to work 24/7. Our teams are also fully committed to their tasks, willing to work at any time of day or night. In the event of a crisis, they are mobilised to implement innovative solutions. For example, during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, they set up a fully operational call centre in the fire station for on-call doctors, within the space of a week. They can also be called upon in the event of terrorist attacks.
In addition, two cartography specialists on the team provide essential information for rescue operations.
Nicolas Locoge, Director-General of Paradigm, and Marc Van den Bossche, Deputy Director-General, were keen to congratulate our teams, highlighting their qualities and skills: "Our teams demonstrate a very high level of availability and adaptability in the services they offer. They also demonstrate a great capacity for action in the face of exceptional situations. Their commitment is absolute. Paradigm is proud to support the SIAMU in its essential roles".
