Laeken Cemetery
This is a listed site whose origins date back to the Middel Ages. It is the oldest cemetery in Brussels ths is still in use and is set out around a church.

CCN Vogelzangbeek CBN
The Commission for the Conservation, Management and Developement of Nature in the Vogelzangbeek Valley organises guided walks on the flora and fauna in this nature reserve.

Mapping the municipalities
The Direction du Patrimoine culturel publishes walking maps of each Brussels municipality. All offer one or more walks for uncovering the urban and historical heritage.

Royal parks walk
This walk takes in green sites lining the Royal Palace at Laeken: Jardins du Fleuriste, Square du 21 Juillet and the orientally inspired gardens of the Japanse Tower and the Chinese Pavilion.
Brussels deserves a Gueuze
30-40-minute walk from Grand Place to Cantillon brewery in Anderlecht, with various historical and picturesque stops on the way. Available for download free of charge on the brewery's website. In French and Dutch.

12 nature walks in Brussels
The City of Brussel's Cellule Eco-Conseil organises 12 walks through the commune's green spaces on weekends between March and Octobre. All walks are free, but advance registration is required. Duration: 90 minutes. In French and Dutch.
