Associations for integration through housing
Associations for integration through housing (Associations œuvrant à l'insertion par le logement -AIPL) aim to facilitate the integration of individuals or households in a situation of social insecurity (due to financial, health or subsistence difficulties or lack of access to information) through housing.
In order to promote access to quality housing for these vulnerable groups, AIPLs perform one or more core missions as stipulated in the Opens in new windowDecree of the Government of the Brussels-Capital Region of 7 July 2016.
Rassemblement Bruxellois pour le Droit à l'Habitat (RBDH)
The non-profit organisation Opens in new windowRassemblement bruxellois pour le droit à l'habitat (RBDH) is a bilingual group of some fifty associations, each working in their respective fields to defend the right to housing. They strive to ensure access to quality, affordable housing for all.
Owners' associations
- The Opens in new windowNational Union of Owners and Co-owners(Syndicat National des Propriétaires et Copropriétaires (SNPC)) focuses on informing and defending private property owners. It is active across all levels of government and frequently appears in the media. The SNPC also provides ongoing legal advice to its members and non-members.
- Opens in new windowPropriétaires Réunis is an association that informs property owners of their rights and obligations, organises and participates in information events and maintains contacts with the press and political circles. Legal advisors assist and advise members on a daily basis, offering them front-line legal support.
