Damage claim due to the state of the infrastructure
When an accident occurs on a Brussels-Capital regional roadway because of the condition of the road, it is possible to file a complaint.
What procedure should I follow?
- Notify the police at the time of the incident and report any danger to other road users.
- If possible, take photos of the scene and the damage
- Contact the police (preferably on the spot) to draw up a report ; this will be requested to establish the facts; failing this, an independent signed witness statement (with a copy of a document authenticating the signature).
- Provide the regional authorities with a copy of the pro-justicia or criminal record.
- Submit a claim using the form below or via the insurance company.
- When sending the claim, provide all supporting documents, such as estimates, expert reports, invoices, etc.
