The Bike Project
The Bike Project, which was launched in 2014, provided free support to Brussels-based companies and organizations in implementing their cycling policies. The programme has now come to an end: a look back at its highlights.
For more than 10 years, The Bike Project has provided individual support to Brussels-based companies and organizations subject to a ‘Opens in new windowPlan de déplacements d’entreprise’ (Company Mobility Plan) to help them design, develop and implement their cycling policies.
Since its first edition, The Bike Project – an initiative proposed by Brussels Environment and implemented by Opens in new windowPro Velo – has ensured that 120,470 employees across 134 companies and organizations could benefit from tangible improvements to their employers’ cycling policies.
The impact of this initiative on how cycling is perceived as a mode of transport within organizations is undeniable.
