This unit carries out checks to improve road safety. Some examples:
Taxi
- Does the vehicle have a Brussels taxi licence and for what type of service?
- Does the driver have a valid certificate of competence?
- Has the employer sent the driver's employment contract to the authorities?
Freefloating
- Is a temporary exclusion zone currently in place and what is its perimeter?
- Are there any freefloating devices in the area?
Worksite
- Is a worksite authorised?
- Are there any special execution conditions? Are they respected?
Freight transport
- Is the vehicle loaded properly (weight, distribution, securing of goods, etc.)?
