New rates for road taxes in Brussels
From 1 July 2026, new rates will apply to the road taxes in the Brussels-Capital Region.

Since 2024, the rates of the one-offtax on entry into service have been indexed annually as well. Rates applicable to leased vehicles are not indexed and remain unchanged for this tax.
From July, you can find the new rates on Opens in new windowMyTax.brussels (go to “Contact & Help”, select “Road taxes” in the drop-down menu and click “Rates”).
