Prepared together for every emergency
An emergency in your area can happen unexpectedly. That is why the National Crisis Centre is launching a series of campaigns designed to increase citizens’ self-reliance.

A national campaign
Public authorities and emergency services are taking a wide range of measures to prepare for and manage an emergency as effectively as possible, but in a crisis they cannot always help everyone at the same time.
It is therefore essential that citizens are also prepared themselves – both individually and together with those around them (family, neighbours, friends, etc.). This enables them to respond quickly and appropriately and makes them more resilient in an emergency.
That is why the National Crisis Centre is launching a series of campaigns designed to increase citizens’ self-reliance. In this way, we are Prepared Together for emergencies.
The first theme in this series is ‘the correct information’. In crisis situations, reliable, accurate information makes the difference between panic and appropriate action. However, citizens often do not know where to find reliable information and only start looking when the emergency arises. This campaign, launched at the end of April 2026, focuses on those official, reliable sources of information.
