Working as a childcare worker in a day care centre

To work as a childcare worker in a centre recognized by the Common Community Commission, a qualification certificate is required. Applicants must be from the EEA or Switzerland, with diplomas recognized by their home country. Applications are free and must be submitted to the Common Community Commission.

Anyone wishing to work as a childcare worker in a childcare centre recognised by the Common Community Commission must have a qualification certificate. The qualification certificate is one of the training titles listed in point 3 of the annex attached to the decision dated 13 June 2019 (please see "Regulations").

 

Conditions

  • You have obtained your diploma within the EEA or Switzerland
  • You are a national of a country within the EEA or Switzerland
  • Your diploma will provide you with access to the profession regulated by the Common Community Commission in your country of origin.

 

Action to be taken
