If a business wishes to retain more than 10 spaces in excess of the number permitted under COBRACE 2.3.54, it is required to have a parking impact assessment carried out. This assessment must be carried out independently by a person registered or approved for this purpose, in particular by a parking impact assessment officer or an approved impact assessment officer.
Requirements
In order to be registered as a parking impact assessor, any natural or legal person must have a thorough knowledge of: mobility AND the socio-economic constraints of businesses, and in particular the knowledge of the parking requirements involved with a company's activities. Knowledge in each field must be demonstrated by: diplomas, training certificates OR practical experience of at least 3 years, evidenced by items such as reports or publications prepared by the applicant for registration.
