Childcare facility organizers must have a United College permit before and during operation. If documentation and inspections confirm standards are met, a provisional six-month operating permit, renewable once, will be issued.

Any organiser of a childcare facility must, prior to the operation of the facility and for as long as the childcare continues, be in possession of a permit from the United College. If the documentation is complete and if it appears from the review of the documentation and the inspection that the childcare facility meets the standards required,
a provisional operating permit valid for six months, renewable once, will be granted to the facility.
