Final authorisation for the organisation of a childcare facility
Childcare facility organizers must have a United College permit before and during operation. Inspectors will assess the facility during the provisional permit's validity. If standards are met, Ministers will grant an indefinite permit before the provisional expires, notifying the applicant of their decision.

Any organiser of a childcare facility must, prior to the operation of the facility and for as long as the childcare continues, be in possession of a permit from the United College. During the period of validity of the provisional operating permit, inspectors will carry out a further inspection of the childcare facility. Before the end of the validity of the provisional operating permit, the Ministers will take a decision about granting a final permit and will communicate their decision to the
applicant. If the inspection shows that the childcare facility meets all the standards required, the Ministers will grant a permit for an indefinite period.
