Internal Rules for Social Media

Brussels Housing wants its Facebook, Instagram, X, and LinkedIn pages to be a safe and peaceful place where everyone can express their disagreement respectfully. We want these to be pages that everyone, regardless of their beliefs, enjoys visiting again and again.

That's why the moderation team has set some internal rules. Here they are:

  • Stay on topic. This is the condition for having relevant conversations.
  • Allegations that cannot be verified by Brussels Housing may be removed.
  • Be respectful in your message. Insulting individuals and groups is forbidden.
  • Generalizations (racist and discriminatory remarks) about groups and individuals are forbidden.
  • Repeatedly posting messages intended to provoke emotional reactions such as anger, irritation, sadness, or arguments is forbidden.
  • Advertising is forbidden.
  • No invasion of privacy. Never share personal information about anyone on our page.
  • Do not share images, acts, or remarks of a sexual nature on our page.

Brussels Housing is committed to managing its forums seriously. But, of course, we cannot be everywhere at once. That is why, after a certain time, we close the discussion under some posts so that we can give our full attention to the debates under other posts.

Users who do not respect these rules may be blocked. The moderator decides this. Their decisions will not be subject to discussion.
