Saint-Josse-ten-Noode is the smallest of the Brussels communes, but also the most multicultural
A commune with so many faces, Saint-Josse-ten-Noode has the highest population density (the same as Mumbai’s) in Belgium. It also has the population with the lowest average age. All told, it’s a melting-pot in miniature.

Saint-Josse-ten-Noode is the smallest of the Brussels communes (1.1 square kilometres), but also the most densely populated.
In spite of its compact size, it is a commune of incredible contrasts.

International-class hotels on Place Rogier, office blocks on Place Madou and the small Manhattan feel of the 'Nouveau Quartier Nord' constitute just one side of Saint-Josse-ten-Noode. The other is made up of neighbourhoods where Turkish migrants are far and away the majority population. The result is a friendly and bustling Anatolian ambiance.

On the site of the former Botanical Gardens the neoclassical glasshouses now house the French Community’s cultural centre (Botanique).
The great diversity makes Saint-Josse-ten-Noode the perfect image of multicultural urbanity, combining housing, offices, culture and relaxation.
