No bike of your own? Not a problem!
- You can hire a bike from the Bike PointsExternal link at Brussels-Nord, Brussels-Central, Brussels-Midi and Brussels-Luxembourg.
- For short journeys, you can take a Villo!External link Bike from one of the Villo! docking stations. When you’re done, leave it at any other Villo! docking station in Brussels.
Where to go
- Bruxelles Mobilité has put together an interactive mapExternal link showing bike routes throughout Brussels (FR/NL). It also includes a list of bike shops and Villo! docking stations.
- Bruxelles Environnement has mapped out a Green Route (FR/NL)External link through the outer suburbs of Brussels, allowing you to experience the Brussels countryside (FR/NL) on foot or by bike.
- Pro Velo organizes every weekend from April to October guided bike toursExternal link. You needn’t be a sportsman/woman to participate: it’s family entertainment.
- You can also explore the Bois de la Cambre in the south of Brussels by bike. Much of the park is closed to motorised vehicles at weekends.
