Ensuring quality in student housing
What are the benefits of the label?
The student accommodation label guarantees that a property rented under the legal framework of a student lease complies with certain quality standards. The aim is to make the student accommodation sector more attractive.
The label gives landlords:
- recognition of the quality of their property, offering a sense of security for students;
- increased visibility when the property displayed for rental on theOpens in new window Mykot.be website;
- the services of accredited mediators in the event of rental disputes.
The label is valid for 5 years and can be renewed.
How to apply for the label
Simply complete the form below and include the following documents:
- a sworn statement certifying that the property complies with the requirements of the Housing Code.
- a signed lease agreement that complies with student lease legislation.
if the property is not currently rented, or is rented outside the scope of a student lease, a sworn commitment to use a student lease in the future is sufficient. - a valid Energy Performance (EPB) certificate.
