Hospitality business
Are you planning to open or reopen a hospitality business (bar, night shop, discotheque, party venue, snack bar, etc.)?
Then you will need to apply for a number of permits. The fire safety certificate is one of them. To obtain this certificate, you must request an on-site visit before the establishment opens.
Requests for Horeca inspections for the City of Brussels (postal codes 1000 – 1020 – 1120 – 1130) must be submitted via: Opens in new windowhttps://www.brussels.be/horeca-operating-licence
Requests for Horeca inspections for the Municipality of Anderlecht (postal code 1070), must be submitted by sending our form (PDF below) directly to the municipality. For Anderlecht, this is NOT possible via the digital form.
Other types of establishments
The obligation to obtain a fire safety certificate also applies to nurseries, schools, hospitals, nursing and care homes, sports facilities, etc.
