Use of languages in Brussels

The use of languages in social relations is tightly regulated in Belgium, with different rules depending on the Region. Industrial, commercial and financial businesses with a branch in the Brussels-Capital Region must draw up documents in Dutch for Dutch-speaking staff and documents in French for French-speaking staff.
