School schedule
Secondary schools work to a set calendar.
Generally speaking, children attend school Mondays to Fridays, with Wednesday afternoons off. They have two weeks’ holiday over Christmas and New Year and over Easter, one week in the autumn (the beginning of November) and one week at the beginning of spring (Carnaval), as well as two months’ summer holiday in July and August.
