The Brussels Institute for Statistics and Analysis (BISA)

The Brussels Institute for Statistics and Analysis (BISA) collects, produces and disseminates statistics on the Brussels-Capital Region. It makes available to everyone statistics, indicators, publications, methodologies and analyses on the Region.

What does the BISA do?

The BISA:

  • Is the reference centre for statistics in the Brussels Region
  • Analyses the socio-economic issues facing Brussels
  • Evaluates public policies
  • Advises Brussels institutions
  • Disseminates its knowledge of the Brussels Region
  • Participates in the management of the Belgian statistical system.
