Paradigm takes part in the FARI conference on September 11 and 12 2023

AI for the Common Good Institute (FARI) is organizing the annual AI, Data and Robotics Conference on September 11 and 12, 2023 in Brussels. This year's event will focus on the challenges and opportunities of AI, data and robotics for sustainable cities.

The world is becoming increasingly urbanized. More than 56% of the world's population now lives in cities, and this figure rises to 97% in Belgium. Cities face a wide range of challenges (human, economic, ecological...) and AI, data and robotics have the potential to solve these challenges and make cities more sustainable, efficient and inclusive.

How can we make AI, data and robotics local and sustainable?

That's the question participants at this year's FARI 2023 conference will be asking themselves. Conference sessions will cover a wide range of topics, including:

  • Using AI to reduce pollution and congestion in cities
  • Using data to improve the delivery of public services
  • Using robotics to increase efficiency and productivity
  • Principles for the responsible use of AI and robots in cities

Paradigm will be present at 2 round tables: Citizens & AI and Local & Sustainable AI.

A free event open to all

The conference is open to everyone, from AI and robotics experts to policy-makers and citizens interested in the future of cities. The event is free of charge, but registration is required.
