Paradigm helps older adults use banking apps with confidence
Paradigm organised another session of the ‘Digital banking for everyone’ tour aimed at older adults.
The event took place on Thursday 20 August at the Pav’Ion in the Parc du Cinquantenaire, in the City of Brussels. Around fifteen participants attended to gain a better understanding of online banking services.
This initiative is part of a tour launched in March and organised for the second time. It brings together Paradigm and Febelfin, the Federation of the Belgian Financial Sector.
The aim is to help people affected by the digital divide to use banking apps. The sessions also cover the risks of fraud and the precautions to take to protect oneself against it. Participants can bring their smartphone, tablet or computer to receive practical advice.
Febelfin leads the sessions, whilst Paradigm handles the practical organisation.
This session was hosted with the support of the non-profit organisation Warned, which works with isolated older adults.
