Free public transport

Public transport - STIB/MIVB is free for children.

Children under 6 travel free on the STIB nework if they are accompanied by a paying person aged 12 or more.

For children between 6 and 11 years of age you have to apply for a J season ticket in one of the BOOTIK or on line. The J season ticket is free; however, a guarantee of € 5 is required for the MOBIB pass.
