The public transport network in Brussels is managed by four different companies:

  • the External linkSTIB (Société des Transports Intercommunaux de Bruxelles) is responsible for the Brussels tram, bus and metro network
  • the External linkSNCB (Société Nationale des Chemins de fer Belges) has a rail network linking the Brussels stations to each other: no fewer than 35 stops are served by train in Brussels
