Tax on automatic entertainment machines
Owners of automatic entertainment machines such as pinball machines, pool tables or jukeboxes pay an annual tax. The tax amount depends on the type of machine.
Which authority manages this tax?
The Brussels-Capital Region sets the tax rate, the taxable basis and any exemptions for the tax on automatic entertainment machines.
At present, the Federal Public Service Finance manages the tax service and transfers the proceeds to the Brussels-Capital Region.
