In what case should you request an opinion?

Emergency vehicles: what constraints?

To understand the accessibility conditions stated in the regulations, it is necessary to understand the technical characteristics of emergency vehicles. Requesting an opinion: how to proceed?

When requesting a notice, you must send the following information to Opens in new windowplans-plannen@firebru.brussels:

  • The case number Osiris
  • A signaling plan with the phase number Osiris
  • Plans showing where traffic is most difficult (street furniture, special sidewalks, etc.)
  • A deviation plane: it must show a complete deviation, in all directions of traffic.

You also have to add detours when there is a traffic closure or change, even if it’s only for local streets or a pedestrian zone.

Important: emergency services must be able to pass through all the streets of the Region.

If the construction is longer than permitted by section 35, you must indicate how the vehicles will be able to access.

Finally, any change (start or end dates of the project, modified conditions, etc.) must also be sent to the same email address.

Wat is de deadline voor een verzoek om advies?

Kennisgevingsverzoeken moeten ten minste 3 weken voor de datum waarop u autorisatie wilt ontvangen, worden verzonden.

De verwerking duurt doorgaans een paar dagen, maar kan langer duren als het bestand complex is of afhankelijk is van de interne organisatie.

Het is daarom belangrijk om het verzoek altijd te verzenden voordat u de autorisatie van de site ontvangt.

Als de constructie zonder voorafgaande kennisgeving van de brandweer begint, wordt er achteraf geen kennisgeving afgegeven.
