Internet Service Provider (ISP)

Paradigm, as a carrier, establishes the IRISnet connection from the partner's site to the Belnet and Orange networks. 

These networks provide access to the Internet. Belnet offers connectivity 

- with the Internet and research networks 

- with high bandwidth. 

Belnet makes this connectivity available exclusively to specific target groups: 

• universities; 

• higher education; 

• primary and secondary schools; 

• research centres; 

• public services. 

Belnet offers ISP service redundancy on two remote sites in active-passive mode. Orange is the second supplier in the event of Belnet service failure. Any partner who subscribes to an IRISnet redundant connection ensures continuity of service in the event of failure of the main connection between the site and Paradigm's infrastructures.
