Fidus services

Fidus is a service integrator that enables Brussels administrations to connect to authentic or personal sources.

Service overview

Simplifying and protecting data exchange

The objective of Fidus is to regulate and boost the electronic exchange of data between public bodies, in accordance with the "only-once" principle.
This principle aims to ensure that a user only provides their data once to a public body, which then makes it available to other public bodies with a legitimate need to access it.

This approach promotes administrative simplification while guaranteeing the protection of personal data.

Exploiting data

Paradigm provides interested partners with a web services platform to collect, exploit and exchange digital data between organisations, securely and subject to the authorisation of the Privacy Commission.
No copy of the exchanged flows is kept.

By connecting its business application to Fidus, a regional entity can quickly and securely access data from authentic Brussels sources, thus improving the efficiency of its administrative processes.

The Fidus Online portal also allows manual access to Fidus, for cases where the need for personal data is ad hoc and does not require automated integration.
