Our mobility and transport objectives

Mobility is one of the main challenges for metropolitan areas. Good accessibility and smooth traffic should not come at the expense of the living environment. The quality of life of present and future generations must therefore be at the center of mobility policy.

Good Move is the Regional Mobility Plan for the Brussels Capital Region, approved by the Brussels government in 2020. It defines the main policy guidelines in terms of mobility. The objective of this plan is to improve the living environment of Brussels residents while accompanying the demographic and economic development of the Brussels Capital Region.

The plan opts for a pleasant and safe city, composed of quiet neighborhoods connected by intermodal structural axes and focused on efficient public transport and traffic fluidity. The plan's measures are intended to provide each user with adapted, facilitated and integrated solutions, allowing him to choose the most appropriate mode of transport for each of his trips, according to his destination and his needs at a given time.
