As a European capital and metropolis, Brussels is easily accessible by plane. The main airport is about 20 km from the city center. A second airport, in Charleroi (less than 50 kilometers from Brussels), is the base of mainly low-cost airlines.

Brussels Airport

Brussels Airport is located in Zaventem, in the northern outskirts of Brussels. Thanks to a direct train connection, you will be in the city center (Brussels-Central station) within 20 minutes. The capital can also be easily reached by taxi or by STIB (the Brussels public transport company), lines 12 and 21) buses.

Brussels South Charleroi airport

The second airport, the "Brussels South Charleroi Airport" in Charleroi, has seen tremendous growth in recent years thanks to the rise of low-cost airlines. Located 46 kilometers from Brussels, this airport connects to the capital via more than 20 shuttles a day. Today, Brussels South Charleroi airport offers more than 20 destinations, mainly in the European Union, but also in Morocco and Eastern Europe.
