Scholarships and study grants

Supporting children and young people in their school career can be a costly business. In some cases, you may be eligible for a scholarship or a grant.

For French speakers, in some circumstances the French Community’s Service des Allocations d'Etudes (FR)External link may provide a study grant (financial assistance) for participation in secondary or higher education.

Scholarships are also available through European programmes. The European Commission’s PLOTEUS portal publishes full information on studying and training in the European Union. It has a dedicated section on EU exchange programmes and grantsExternal link, such as Erasmus, Leonardo da Vinci, Tempus and others.
