The Brussels-Capital Region has a large hospital infrastructure, with high-quality care for patients in general hospitals and specialised clinics, including academic hospitals.

On the website of the Common Community Commission (FR/NL)External link you can search for a hospital in Brussels by name, commune or department.
Most of the hospitals also have a website containing practical information.
In the Brussels-Capital Region, the IRIS network comprises the Region’s five public hospitalsExternal link, spread over eleven sites:
- Institut Jules Bordet
- Brugmann University Hospital
- Queen Fabiola Children's University Hospital
- Saint-Pierre University Hospital
- Hôpitaux Iris-Sud.
