The association aims to provide to young people, aged 15-16, being in high school (or similar) training, over three academic years, to facilitate to obtain licenses of candidate firefighter and candidate first-aid paramedic and to prepare recruitment examination to become a firefighter in the Brussels-Capital region.

To establish this, in addition to the course needed to obtain the above patents, The association will ensure that youngs have, at the end of the school curriculum, not just a good physical condition but also a knowledge of the topography of the Brussels-Capital region (main roads, key buildings, …), its institutions (Parliament, Government, Ministries, …), vehicles used by the SIAMU-DBDMH, etc. ….

In addition to physical preparation, theorical and practical, 12 to 16 hours of emergency medical courses are provided to cadets per year. Moreover, they will receive training in basic resuscitation and use of an automated external defibrillator. This training (BLS/DEA) will be certified by a certificate of the European Council of Resuscitation.
