Digital Spring: Paradigm honours Sustainable Digital
Organised by Paradigm, in collaboration with visit.brussels, Digital Spring opens its doors on 24 M arch at the somewhat unusual site of "RESET", Rue de Ligne 8, 1000 Brussels. This is an opportunity for Paradigm to present the Sustainable Digital project to visitors by means of a specific example: the laptop of tomorrow.
On 24 and 25 March 2023, Digital Spring is back for the third year , with the central theme: "From the skies down to the earth, the challenges and opportunities of the digital technology age". Over two days, visitors will be able to discover a whole series of digital initiatives set up in the Brussels Region to improve its citizens’ life.
The Digital Spring is an opportunity to discover the best in computer science in the Brussels Region. It is an interactive experience where the public will be able to touch, test, develop, code and, who knows, maybe inspire people to take up a job in the digital sector, which is increasingly in demand on the Brussels job market.
As the orchestrator of the digital transformation of the Brussels Region and co-organiser of the Printemps Numérique, Paradigm (formerly the Centre d'informatique pour la Région bruxelloise) has put together a stand that focuses on the Responsible Digital initiative. This stand is structured as an interactive journey that takes visitors on a discovery of concrete solutions to minimise the environmental footprint of our digital "consumption". This is done through a concrete example, that of the laptop of tomorrow: a circular, eco-designed, repairable and upgradeable laptop with limited environmental impact.
To complete this journey, Talks for professionals and students, as well as fun activities for the youngest, shed light on the crossroads of the digital transition and the ecological transition.
