Centres de Référence

The Centres de Référence in the Brussels-Capital Region bring together employment and training providers and employer representatives.
The Centres de Référence in the Brussels-Capital Region work to improve the training opportunities in some economic sectors to better meet the staffing needs of employers.

Bearing in mind the lack of suitable candidates for jobs in certain sectors in Brussels the Government of the Region firmly supports the work of the Centres de Référence. These have been set up to get the inhabitants of Brussels into work by providing complementary training or a chance to retrain and learn new skills, in close association with representatives of the sector in question.

The network is built on a partnership between employment and training providers and employer representatives.

There are five Centres de Référence in the Brussels-Capital Region.

Construction (CDR)

The Centre de Référence de la Construction (CDR) is cofounded by the regional public authorities and the private sector. It works with the building sector, Actiris, Bruxelles-Environnement and the Brussels training bodies to improve the employment opportunities of jobseekers and improve the qualifications and knowledge of construction personnel in the Region. The CDR runs courses on safety, insulation, airtightness and more.
